This was a festival organised by Factory Records. 10 events to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Sex Pistols playing in Manchester.
It was absolutely huge for me - first time I went to Manchester, having been obsessed with Factory & the Manchester scene generally for a few years, & it was so exciting.
So many good bands - ACR on early in the day, New Order with Mac from the Bunnymen for guest vocals on Ceremony, The Smiths with Morrissey waving a ‘The Queen Is Dead’ sign. Good times :)
